Shafeeq Guest House

The family were so friendly that I felt right at home, and the rooms were great. It was clean, the staff were welcoming, and the price was very good. The location is a little away from the main road, but it was still easy to get around and find rickshaws. I'd absolutely recommend staying here.

Our family stayed four days at Shafeeq Guest House, which is run by the owner's family. The building is a little old, but it's kept in very good condition. The rooms and other areas were clean and carpeted. They made us pure veg breakfast and dinner in a very clean kitchen, and the food was delicious. The owner and family were always willing to help arrange taxis, autos and sightseeing. Their hospitality, hospitality, made for a memorable stay with a real family atmosphere. I've recommended it to people close to me.

The owner, Mr YOUNIS, mingled with every guest and made us feel special, and the staff were just as attentive to our specific requests. As someone who travels often, I really value getting a feel for local culture and hospitality, and HOTEL THE SHAFEEQ delivered on that. It's also conveniently close to the airport and works well for a holiday.

The only downside was the waste dump near the stay. Otherwise, this is a great option for a trip to srinagar. A family runs the place, and the owner is honest and kind. We really liked his service and behavior, and the other staff were good too. The food they provide is tasty, homely and affordable. Overall, the hospitality was good.
