KVM Hotels

Housekeeping was up to the mark, and the staff were friendly and responsive. The compact vegetarian restaurant on the ground floor served breakfast, snacks, lunch and dinner, and the food tasted quite good. The hotel has around 25 guest rooms, with both AC and non AC options, plus covered ground-floor parking for nearly 8-10 cars. It's in Srirangam on the outskirts of Trichy, about a kilometer from the famous old Sriranga temple. Autos for local sightseeing, mostly temples, are plentiful and charge affordable per-person rates.

The restaurant needs renovation. Its cleanliness and maintenance weren't up to the mark at all, and the closing hours are odd, even though the food is very good in quality, quantity and taste. The hotel itself is a good place to stay, especially if the restaurant side is taken care of. It's very close to the main Gopuram, and the rooms and bathrooms are clean and spacious for women, families and senior citizens. The staff are helpful, flexible and supportive. I'd give the lodging unit five stars.

The in-house restaurant was the best part for me, and I'd strongly recommend using it. The hotel was excellent for cleanliness, with a superb room and a very good bathroom. The one drawback is that the room felt a little small for the price.

The rooms are well made and maintained, and it's good value for money. The staff are courteous, though some of the HK services could be better. My experience was good overall, and I'd recommend staying here.
