The location and the dark entrance were the weak points for me. The area around The World Hotel Surat didn't feel safe or appealing, and the hotel leaves its outer lights off at night, so it's easy to miss and doesn't look inviting. Inside, though, the suite was spacious and luxurious, and the staff were consistently kind and courteous. The food was delicious, with a phenomenal morning buffet that was entirely vegetarian and offered plenty of choice. The gym was well maintained, and while the pool was small, it was adequate. Its changing area was only so-so and could use an upgrade to match the rest of the property. This is a good place if you plan to stay mostly inside and value the rooms and food, especially the 100% vegetarian buffet, but the surroundings and arrival experience brought down my stay.

I had a really enjoyable visit to FAM Restaurant at Regenta Hotel today. Aakash made it feel special with warm, attentive, professional service and a genuinely caring manner. The food was delicious, with lots of variety and good quality. I'd recommend the place to anyone after good food and service.

Prajakta was attentive, polite, and made sure everything was just right during our visit. Her friendly, professional service made our time at the hotel and restaurant special. We had a wonderful experience and highly recommend it.

The breakfast spread was decent, though dishes ordered at the table might never arrive. Room service was delayed too, and we had to remind them several times. The rooms were spacious, with two washrooms, a kitchen, and a sitting lounge, which we appreciated. It's about a 40-minute drive from the airport. Finding the lift was hard, and after getting out, the room directions were confusing. When we got turned around, it meant a long loop to reach our room. Still, it's a place you could try.

I've stayed at Regenta The World, Surat many times for work, and most visits have been good. This time, the team noticed a small issue with our arrival even though we hadn't made much of it ourselves. Neeraj picked up on it, and Mr. Jagdev Parmar, the GM, waited until we'd finished dinner and met us in the lobby close to midnight to hear what had happened. He listened without rushing or making excuses, and from then on our stay was smooth and worry-free. That kind of attention made the place feel personal. The staff genuinely care, and you don't feel like just another guest. Anamika, Prajakta, Chef Anil, Sameerjit and Gaurav at reception, Asha, Vishal, and James all helped make us feel looked after. James took particular care with our food preferences. One colleague follows a pure Jain diet, and the team handled it thoughtfully without reminders or follow-ups. There's also a wider team behind the scenes that helps make the experience warm and comfortable. Regenta The World feels like somewhere you want to return to, and I do. Highly recommended.
