The cottages sit near the beach and in front of the pool, while the other option is a standard room in the G+2 building. What stood out most was the clear, quiet stretch of beach, which felt almost private, and the sea was cleaner for swimming than at Tarkarli and Malwan. The food was good, so I'd recommend choosing a package with breakfast and dinner. We also visited Sindhudurg Fort, took a boat to the confluence and Dolphin Point, and you might spot dolphins if you're lucky. Make sure you hire a boat large enough for the waves there. Tsunami island was a letdown for us, mostly hype unless you're going for water sports.

The food has plenty of variety and the seafood is a highlight. Service was good, though there’s room to improve. You can see the sea from every room, and the property opens straight onto a calm beach that feels private. Rooms are spacious but pretty basic, so don’t expect many extras. The glass cottages felt cramped to me. Still, it’s a pleasant, affordable place for a sea view.

There are more than 40 rooms here, so it seems well suited to families or groups. Ours was spacious, nicely laid out, and had a peaceful view of the sea from the window. The large pool also works for children and adults. Meals offered a good range, from Maharashtrian and Chinese dishes to Punjabi food and tandoor options. Avisa Neela Beach Resort is right by the beach and made for a relaxing, comfortable stay, with welcoming hospitality.

The staff were a real help, from a quick check-in to friendly conversation and suggestions for nearby Malvani fish curry. The place also felt good value and not too touristy. After long days at the forts and Sindhudurg beach, the clean, comfortable room had the basics we needed. We were there for a short Malvan getaway as a couple. The room was small, but they kindly gave us a beach-facing view, and waking up to the waves made it worthwhile. Rating: 4.5/5.

Getting an auto or taxi outside can take some effort, though it’s manageable. The location is a plus: there’s a pool facing the beach, with direct access to the beach from the resort. Rooms are decent for the area, but I think the price could be a little lower.
