Hotel Tawang Regency

The old market is close by and easy to reach, and there’s parking for cars with road access to the hotel. We were welcomed warmly, and staff even asked at reception how our day had gone. They were quick to respond to room service, coming after just one bell. The service and staff’s behavior were outstanding, and they even washed our car. Loved the hotel and would recommend it.

The location was fine and the food was good, but rooms are small and the heater costs extra. Finding anyone to serve us after 9:30 pm was difficult. Maybe that was because I visited at the end of February, outside their peak season. It was a mixed experience.

A problem with the geyser wasn’t dealt with promptly. After I reported it several times, the manager moved me to another room only five hours later. He wasn’t helpful when the issue came up. The location also made it hard to get around and rest properly. A very bad experience, so don’t book here or recommend it.

Staff behaved badly and didn’t even greet us properly. There was no water in the room, and the geyser didn’t work properly either. Food prices were much too high. I wouldn’t visit, especially with so many other hotels around.
