Kaudiyala is the place name, and the property is surrounded by scenery in every direction. There’s a five-minute trek up from the road, and you won’t guess what’s waiting there. The staff were cheerful and helpful, the food felt homely, and the pool was working well. They had a bonfire, music, and games including cricket, badminton, volleyball, football, and TT. I’d highly recommend a visit.
The only real drawback was the tiny fan in the tent, more like an exhaust fan. It was so warm inside that I slept outside. Otherwise, the host was great and helpful, and the pool was refreshing. We got a welcome drink on arrival, then could swim or play badminton. After lunch there was time to rest, and around 6-7 they brought out snacks like veg pakora, chilli chicken, popcorn, channa chat, and tea. There was also a music console with big speakers guests could use. A good camping experience.
There’s lots of space and the place is well maintained. Breakfast was good, but dinner was bad, so the food quality needs a bit of improvement.
The campsite is pet friendly and the staff were really helpful. I enjoyed my stay. Just keep in mind it’s in Kaudiala, quite a bit further along than Rishikesh.
The view is as good as it gets, and the staff were so hospitable. I absolutely loved this camp and would definitely recommend going.
