We've stayed at Ganga Vatika in Rishikesh three times now, and still choose it when we come with family. It's a quiet break from the busy city, and the spacious, thoughtfully furnished rooms feel cozy and luxurious. The setup is more like a studio or serviced apartment, run by monks from the Ashram, and the rooms are very well kept. There's no breakfast at the property. A home kitchen nearby can prepare meals if you order a day ahead, which takes a bit of planning but is manageable. It's a good fit for families and larger groups, and the staff are helpful about organizing stays for smaller groups or special requests.

We've come here with family four times now. Yogalaya Ashram is well managed, and its services are good. The place has a peaceful, green setting and access to a spacious apartment, furnished in a creative, modern way.

The staff and cleanliness were lovely, and the stay was comfortable enough to feel like home. I do wish they'd provide refills of drinking water for free. It's a basic necessity, yet guests have to pay for bottles, and they're charged above MRP. Apart from that, everything was beautiful and comfortable as expected. I'd be happy to stay here again.

It's a peaceful, beautiful place, away from street noise. Getting there can be hard because of the stairs, but once you're there the quiet is lovely. The staff were kind, helpful, and always around when I needed something. The main thing to improve is the cleaning. Thanks so much, girls!!! 🙏🏻

They call it a hotel, but it felt like neither a hotel nor a homestay, and our recent stay was very bad. The room wasn't ventilated, and the AC compressor made so much noise it kept us from sleeping. Bathroom fittings were in poor shape, with clogged showerheads and taps that were leaking and corroded. They don't provide mineral water, you have to pay for it. The kitchen locks at 8 pm, so you can't get water there after that, and they ask for a 1000 rs deposit for the key. You also can't check out before 8 am unless you gave notice the previous day.
