The room was very small, though the balcony was spacious. Dining options were limited too, as there was no Chinese food. For around ₹5000 a night, the stay and hospitality did not feel worth the price. I was there with my husband and our 1.5-year-old boy, and the way the manager spoke to us at breakfast was upsetting. Our curious toddler was exploring and trying to sit on the table, and the manager rudely told us to keep him on our lap and stop him playing with the spoon, even though the dining area was nearly empty. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for families with small children. It didn’t feel welcoming or family-friendly. Hospitality overall was poor. Room service could take nearly an hour even to bring water. When something in the room wasn’t working, staff gave us instructions over the phone and expected us to fix it ourselves instead of sending a technician.

The rooms were spacious and looked out over the forest, with the smell of pine adding to the experience. The place is still uncommercialized and has kept its natural charm. It’s in the small village of Ritu ki beli, about 20 kms before Dhanolti. We first thought it might be an ordinary resort, but The Himalayan Splendour Resort proved extraordinary for its location and views. Kajal & Pradeep and the management team were warm and hospitable. The cleanliness was excellent, the food was delicious, and there’s in-house parking, which can be hard to find in the hills. It’s pet friendly too. We had a memorable family holiday and highly recommend this offbeatish place for a relaxed stay away from the noise.

After a long trek on the nearby trails, it felt great to return to the cozy resort and enjoy fresh, flavorful, satisfying food. The trails and mountain air added real mojo to the stay. The setting is surrounded by beautiful nature, with crisp air and mountain views that made waking up feel peaceful. Staff were energetic, welcoming, and helpful, and the Manager personally made sure guests were comfortable. Himalayan Splendour Resort is well worth visiting if you want relaxation, scenic beauty, good food, and a little trekking adventure.

The rooms were neat and comfortable, with good hot water and a fair heater. Executive rooms had balconies, and there was a small pool table and a carrom board. A very friendly dog got plenty of pampering from us. Good hotel.

The view was beautiful, but the stay was disappointing apart from that. Staff were rude and unprofessional, and their communication with customers was extremely poor. We asked room service for water around 10 PM and waited more than 30 minutes. The geyser wasn’t working, and after we told the staff, nobody came to check it. We had to stand on a chair and open the water inlet nozzle ourselves to fix it. They were also rude to families with children. When our child moved a spoon from the table, a staff member said, “Keep your baby on your lap.” That comment could have been ignored on its own, but the overall hospitality and customer service were extremely disappointing. Aside from the scenery, the stay wasn’t satisfactory.
