I expected a much better stay at Hotel O Yog Tapovan in Rishikesh, but the whole experience was frustrating and far below an acceptable standard. The room was very dirty, with unclean bedsheets and towels, and the washroom was unhygienic and smelled unpleasant. Basic things like maintenance and water supply were also not up to the mark. Staff behavior was unprofessional. They didn't respond properly to complaints, and the service was unsatisfactory. The hotel is in a narrow lane that's hard to access, especially with luggage. I wouldn't recommend staying here unless the management makes significant improvements. I hope they take this feedback seriously and improve both service and hygiene.

The service was the cheapest kind, and the staff treated customers badly. The owner was arrogant, while the person at reception spoke very rudely. They apparently don't provide service to guests who book online. My booking included AC, but they didn't turn it on. Then, at night, right at 8:00 p.m., the receptionist argued with me and told me to leave the hotel. I checked out at 9:30, after she kept arguing with me and my husband. A very, very bad experience.

The room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, as if it hadn't been cleaned, and they provided no drinking water. Staff were also shockingly unprofessional and discourteous. They treated us without respect as a family and even shamelessly denied us the ability to carry our luggage properly. The service was terrible from start to finish. Completely unacceptable and disappointing, and I would never recommend this place.

The room and washroom smelled like a gutter, and the staff spoke in a very condescending way. They showed no regard for the money guests had paid, and hospitality was nonexistent. The website showed parking at the hotel, but there wasn't any. I'd give it 0 stars and highly do not recommend it.

The pictures posted here are misleading, and the location on the map is too. You have to walk uphill to a far-off location with your luggage, which is very inconvenient. The place was unhygienic and poorly maintained. Reception staff were extremely rude even when I asked for a clean bedsheet, with no courtesy or willingness to help. The owner and staff lacked basic etiquette and professionalism. It was a very unpleasant stay, and I wouldn't recommend it.
