The location and view are great, and both the food and service were good. Manoj, the owner, deserves thanks for a pleasant stay in the dome. The domes seem thoughtfully made, but because they’re at a campsite, insects fly around inside and outside throughout the day, and there isn’t much that can be done about it. The road to the resort is very narrow and a bit of a problem. It’s a fully vegetarian place in the middle of a jungle, and there isn’t really anything for children to do, so I wouldn’t say it’s a good choice with kids.

For about ₹11,000 a night, we expected much better. The room and its equipment were very poor, basic things were missing, and the amenities seemed badly managed. Staff were inattentive, and after we asked several times, the towel we finally received was dirty. The service overall was extremely disappointing and the stay fell far short of what the price led us to expect.

The igloo-shaped rooms felt luxurious, the views were wonderful, and the food was delicious. The staff were caring and supportive, too. I stayed here on 5th Jan 2026 and had a great experience.

We spent the whole day at Nilayam resort, surrounded by jungle, and had a great time. The food was good, and we enjoyed the bonfire and music at night. Manager ankit bhandari was kind and helpful. To me, it’s the best property in kanatal, and you should visit.

The journey to the resort is exciting, and the view when you arrive is mesmerizing. The stay was comfortable and beautiful, with great food and service. One of the best experiences of my life. A must visit 🙂
