The restaurant was poorly run, with no one taking responsibility for orders. A few young boys were left to serve guests, which isn’t fair to them when they have to deal with unhappy customers because of the hotel’s lack of training. Rooms can cost 7-8k in peak season, yet the bathroom door had no lock and even the main door felt unreliable. You have to trust your partner and warn them before using the bathroom. They charge far too much for what you get. I wish they’d charge even half as much.

We paid Rs. 3500 for a Saturday night. The first room seemed okay at a glance, but its lock was broken and the toilet seat was too, so we had to move. In the second room there was no flush. Neither room had a clean cupboard for our bags, and the sheets were dirty and stained. They also don’t provide basics like toiletries.

It cost us 2500 INR for one night, and the view wasn’t much to look at. The sheets had stains, there were cockroaches on the mattress, and the bathroom was in poor shape, with a leaking commode that was uncomfortable to use. The food wasn’t good either. We carried our own luggage, then staff asked us for tips. Not recommended unless they make improvements.

There was a power cut at night and no backup. When we asked, the owner, who was drunk, refused and started behaving badly. He locked the doors, kept our identity cards, and demanded the full tariff even though we wanted to leave just two hours after checking in. We eventually called the police, who resolved the situation so we could check out.
