Hotel Ratna Palace Residency

I've been at Hotel Ratna Paradise for 10 days, and it's been the worst hotel stay I've had. Most mornings, there's no water for 4-5 hours, so you can't bathe or even use the washroom. The AC is controlled at reception, and they switch it off when they feel like it, apparently to frustrate guests or make them check out. That feels manipulative and unprofessional. Pappu Prasad, the manager, has been rude, arrogant, and no help at all. The other staff are polite, but seem powerless under the management. The place also feels uncomfortable and sketchy if you're looking for a quiet stay or are travelling for work. It doesn't feel like a proper hotel for travellers or individuals, more like a local couples' hideout for make-out sessions and short stays. Basic amenities are a disaster here. Avoid it if you expect cleanliness, peace, basic respect, water, or AC. It was a waste of my money, time, and patience. Owners, please take this seriously. If things carry on like this, the hotel will suffer heavy losses. I can't see any sane person wanting to return after this mess. My honest advice is to stay elsewhere and spend your money somewhere you'll be treated like a guest instead of a burden.

The location was the best part for me, just a 5 minute walk from the MSRDC bustop near Vandana Theater. I stayed about a week and really enjoyed it. Staff were cooperative, and housekeeping did a great job. The rooms are a little small but comfortable and well maintained, and the AC was okay. There were several breakfast choices, like Aloo paratha, Cheese Sandwich, and Kanda Poha. Dinner was nice too, though there weren't many ways to customize it.

It's very close to thane railway station and other important spots around Mumbai. The hotel was clean, and the hospitality was great. Staff were helpful and guided us throughout the stay. The in-house restaurant was hygienic and well looked after, and the food really was great. I had an awesome experience and would recommend it to couples, families, and corporate people.

Food and service were good, and the toilet was kept really clean. The AC worked well, although its remote didn't. My room's Wi-Fi wasn't working. Space was tight: two adults can manage, but there's barely room to walk, so it may not suit a family. An extra bed in an economy room would be impossible.
