dusitD2, Fagu, Shimla

Dinner was the highlight of our stay at dusitD2 Fagu, Shimla. The food tasted wonderful and was beautifully presented, and Vasu Thakur, Aarti Soni, and Sahil made the evening memorable with thoughtful, attentive service. We also loved having the large heated indoor pool and jacuzzi after being out in the cold. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the staff across the hotel were professional and easy to deal with. The mountain views were fantastic, especially first thing in the morning. We had a relaxing visit and would happily choose dusitD2 Fagu again.

The anniversary touches from the team made the trip feel very personal. Harsimran from Marketing helped keep everything seamless, and the staff went out of their way to celebrate with us. We stayed in the Presidential Suite, and those wide hill views in the morning were unforgettable. Even with temperatures below zero, the hospitality, food, and overall experience felt warm. We enjoyed Indian, Italian, and Chinese dishes, and SOI Thai restaurant was a particular favorite for its flavors, presentation, and care. The cocktails were excellent, and the evenings around the warm bonfire became lovely memories. Thank you to Ummashankar (F&B Manager), Ayush (Restaurant Manager), Chef Soni (SOI), Chef Rawat (Pastry), Aniket (Bar), Arti & Angtei (SOI), Vasu, Muskan & Nikki (Dusit service team), Executive Chef Amit Dogra, and Jitender for activities. Dusit is a name I trust, and DusitD2 Fagu lives up to those international standards here in India, with a refined but warm feel. It was an unforgettable stay, and we’ll be back 🤍✨

Snowfall made our stay even more magical, and it was lovely to watch it from such a cozy, well-kept hotel. The peaceful setting and beautiful views made dusitD2 Fagu a great mountain escape. The staff’s care kept everything comfortable and stress-free in the cold. Harsimran, the HOD, was consistently supportive and attentive to details. Chef Rawat prepared delicious meals around our preferences, and Vasu and Muskan were warm and always ready to help. We felt at home and valued throughout. We’d highly recommend the hotel and hope to visit again.
