Gokulam Grand Hotel

The setting at Gokulam Grand was comfortable, and the ambience was decent for dinner. The buffet itself felt average, though, and neither the variety nor the taste stood out. For the price, I thought it was a bit expensive. All in all, an okay dining experience.

The breakfast buffet at the restaurant was great. I was surprised to have an egg white omelette brought to my table without ordering one, perhaps the food and beverage team had picked up on my eating habits from Gokulam Grand Kozhikode. The room cleaning was done perfectly. I asked Ms Remya in the morning, and she was attentive and spoke fluent English. Mr Roney did the cleaning, and I also happened to meet the assistant Housekeeper Mr yousef, who was kind and courteous. Once again, excellent service from the team. One small suggestion: the bed runner was removed after the next day's cleaning, and guests could be offered a turn down service to help set the hotel apart from other 5 star Hotels. I'm torn between Gokulam Grand Trivandrum and Gokulam Grand Kozhikode.

Nandana was very cordial and offered all kinds of help to make our stay pleasant. She comes highly recommended. From the welcome through checkout, the hotel gave us an extraordinary experience, and I would gladly recommend it for a pleasant stay.

The view and location make the 360 roof top bar worth a visit, and the service was good. I got an amazing seat with a great view. The beer was cold, though it could have been colder. Starters were decent but nothing special, while the fish finger was mind blowing.
