The F&B lady Manager and the Front Office lady Manager were professional, polite, and helpful, and made us feel welcome. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and added a lot to our stay. At Akhil Classic Hotel in Trivandrum, our room was spacious, luxurious, and well maintained, and the modern bathroom was exceptionally clean and felt premium. The facilities exceeded my expectations. A great experience, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, luxury, and excellent hospitality.

The location was convenient, and the reception staff were very kind. I especially liked how quiet the soundproof room was. My executive room was very clean, with a huge comfortable bed, nice furniture, modern decor, tea and a kettle, different lighting options, good AC, and a decent bathroom. A very good hotel by international standards. I’ll definitely return.

Our deluxe room was very spacious, and the bathroom was clean and well maintained. The restaurant food was good, and the front office lady manager was polite and helpful. One issue was getting warm water early in the morning. Guests from places such as Bangalore may need it before heading to temples for darshan, even if people in Kerala are used to cold-water baths. It seems the hotel uses solar heating and avoids the electric system. Despite following the suggestion to let the water run, we couldn’t get hot water between 6:00 and 7:00 am. That wastes precious water just to save a little electricity. I wish they’d provide warm bath water in November, December, and January for devotees going to early-morning darshan.

Our rooms were clean and well maintained, and the housekeeping staff did a good job. Sadly, that was overshadowed by a very frustrating check-in at Hotel Akhil Classic. Our group was eight adults and five children, and we arrived around 10:30 PM after a long trip. Mr. Shijin at reception came across as rude and dismissive instead of welcoming. He insisted on collecting ID proofs for all 12 guests, including children under five. That requirement wasn’t mentioned in our booking confirmation or on any hotel website, and it added stress while we were tired and dealing with restless kids. After a lot of back-and-forth, I had to raise my voice to get a clear answer and move check-in along. This was a poor first interaction and set a negative tone for the stay. The front desk attitude seriously affected our experience despite the clean rooms. I hope the hotel clarifies its check-in policy and improves customer service. Given how we were treated on arrival, recommending Hotel Akhil Classic is difficult.

I was skeptical after reading the reviews and had usually stayed at Hotel Hycinth, but didn’t want to spend as much for a short visit. I stayed in an executive room at Akhil Classic on 19sep and 20th sep 2025, before my flight fromTVM to Singapore, and was there for just 20 hours. The front office Manager sharanya Thomas answered my call promptly, explained that management had changed and the hotel was renovated, and assured me of a clean, comfortable room with a padmanabh swami temple view. I rested well, and if you want a decent value hotel with breakfast, this is worth considering. The mattress was good, linens and room were clean, and the aircon was well maintained, so I slept comfortably. There was a kettle, tea, coffee, and a milk powder pouch. The bathroom was clean, with hot water and good water pressure. It had no separate wet and dry area or tub, but soap, shampoo, moisturiser, shower cap, and bath towels were provided. I asked for a face towel and got one. Breakfast was fresh and sufficient rather than a huge buffet with lots of items you might not try. There was fresh juice, two kinds of cut fruit, bread and spreads, boiled eggs, milk, cereal, chole with bhature, and Kerala breakfast dishes: puttu with kadala curry, mini thattu dosa, vada, sambar, and chutney. They also made an omelette fresh on request, and served tea and coffee. Breakfast was on the rooftop, and service was prompt. I enjoyed the Kerala food and was content with the spread. The staff were excellent. Reception, the doorman, and restaurant staff were helpful, and when we checked out they loaded our bags into the car. We had large bags after a long journey from Heathrow-Mumbai- Mangalore- Trivandrum- Singapore, and appreciated the help even though we’re used to handling our own luggage. Thank you all for the great service. For management: the plug sockets need repair or replacement, though a staff member did come to look at them. The washbasin pipe leaks and drips water, and the safety locker doesn’t work.
