Lake Palace Hotel Trivandrum

At Lake Palace Hotel, the peaceful atmosphere and clean, comfortable room made for a lovely stay. The staff were welcoming, and the service was excellent. AKASH and ADARA deserve a special mention for being kind, professional, and so helpful. They made me feel especially comfortable. I’d happily recommend the hotel and would love to return.

We visited on 28.12.2025 and found the location convenient for both TVM and Varkala. Since Varkala gets overcrowded around New Year, this felt like a better, more affordable option. There’s plenty of parking, including valet service, and the pool has a kids’ section and maintained temperature. The lake view was wonderful, our room was clean, and the restaurant served good food. A peaceful, nature-friendly place. We had a good experience and would recommend it.

A family can get both downtime and things to do here. We enjoyed kayaking and made use of the cricket and football grounds. The food was delicious, and having a bar on site made evenings by the water even nicer. The pool looks out over the backwaters, a beautiful setting for relaxing. A great choice for either a quiet break or some activities, highly recommended.

Arun, the manager, helped us sort things out, and without his quick handling the day could have gone much worse. We’d booked the resort for a day-out program for 100 people. Anandhu from the sales department had promised us two complimentary rooms and a hall, but on arrival they initially refused to provide the rooms unless the current occupants checked out. We got them only after a long argument. Then we found a huge backdrop from another event set up in the hall, even though Anandhu had assured us no other event would be happening until 5 pm. With Arun’s help, we covered it with white cloth, but had to leave the hall after lunch and move the remaining activities outside. If it had rained, we’d have been in trouble. Anandhu didn’t show up or answer our calls. I wouldn’t recommend this resort for functions.
