Pattom Royal Hotel

The rooms were acceptable, and the food itself was decent, but the service at this hotel was the worst I’ve experienced after staying in many places. My friends and family and I booked two rooms for February 14 and checked out the next morning. I’ve already posted the same reviews on Agoda and emailed the property. Even before we arrived, the person answering reception sounded cold and uninterested, and spoke in a way that felt unprofessional and untrained. After check-in, room service was just as poor. They refused to bring beer glasses, saying they were worried guests might break them. When we ordered whiskey, the glasses looked like measuring cups. We asked for proper whiskey glasses and got the same excuse. Reception said they’d sort it out, but nothing happened. We also ordered porotta that never came. After waiting and getting no response, we had to go out for food at 1:30 AM. When we told the security guard we’d be back shortly, he barely acknowledged us and took his time opening the gate. On our return he didn’t open it at all, so we had to get out and do it ourselves. The next morning, we raised these issues at the front desk. A staff member questioned the room service and security staff in front of us and said he’d report it to management, but it looked like a show with no real intention of fixing anything. Two days before our stay, I’d also seen two guests arguing with bar staff over items added to their bill that they said they hadn’t ordered. They said it had happened before. That left me concerned about the place’s standards. I regret booking here. The service felt careless and dishonest, and there was no accountability or respect for guests. I won’t return and will warn others away. This place doesn’t deserve your money, time, or trust.

We ended up at Pattom Royal hotel for five days because of a family emergency, and the whole team made that difficult time much easier. Dhyan, Angha, and everyone at reception were very helpful. The food was a real hit with our guests, both the variety and the taste. We held my nephew’s first birthday celebration at Pattom Royal Hotel, and the arrangements were well organized. The staff made sure everything was ready, and the ambiance added a nice touch to the day. Thanks to the team for making it special. I’d recommend it for family functions and events.

I’m a regular guest, and we’ve held several family functions here. We’ve also used the suite rooms for relatives visiting from out of town. The hospitality has always been excellent. Thanks for looking after our guests and making them happy.
