SPOT ON 75237 The New View Hotel

The service here was the worst, and the people weren’t good to deal with. Agoda recommended this hotel, which has made me decide never to trust them again. Even if it seems cheaper than other places, a slightly higher budget can get you a much better hotel. I’d stay away unless you want your trip mood ruined.

Rooms were neat and clean, the price was affordable, and the customer service was good. A good experience.

Before I went, I called the hotel and was told they had ended their relationship with Oyo months ago. They refused to give me a room. The booking showed an average price of 900/-, and I paid 630/- through Google Pay. Ten minutes later, it said I owed another 700/-. Customer care only routed me back to the main menu. I used the automated chat to cancel, which said the cancellation succeeded and a refund was being processed. When I checked the invoice, I realized I’d get only 258/- back. The rest went to Oyo, even though the hotel had no rooms available.

The place was completely unhygienic and cramped, and they demanded extra money without providing basics like drinking water or bathroom essentials. I was extremely disappointed to find an Oyo hotel in this state. It’s totally unfit for a stay. Choose anywhere else.
