Super Collection O Govt Engineering College Formerly Anby Plaza

After OYO moved us to another hotel, that place was full too. It took a further transfer before we finally had a room. I’d booked this hotel through OYO for two nights and arrived around 7 PM, only to be told it was full. The staff said this “usually happens” and guests get moved to nearby hotels, but OYO hadn’t sent me an email or app update about any change. I waited nearly two hours while they talked among themselves, then they told me to contact OYO customer care. After several calls, OYO arranged another place. I later suspected the hotel staff were stalling to get more commission, and my colleague said this was a common issue with such properties. Since I’d paid online, they didn’t directly ask me for more money, but seemed to be waiting for me to offer it. The whole thing was frustrating and disappointing. Management was completely unprofessional, and OYO should take action to stop this happening. A confirmed booking should mean you have somewhere to stay, not hours of waiting and scrambling.
