I booked a room late on 1st oct for 894, with the prepaid amount marked non refundable. When I reached at 1:30 in the morning, the Oyo partner rooms operator demanded 3500 for an early morning check in charge. What is someone travelling with family supposed to do in that situation at that hour? 3500 is a lot compared with the room rate of 894. Since my prepaid money couldn’t be refunded, I lost that charge and went to a better quality hotel for 2500 instead of staying at the Oyo room for 894. These Oyo rooms partners are cheaters, so beware when booking. Don’t prepay without checking the room and extra charges. Thank you very much.

The location is really good, with the market, bus stand, and railway station all within walking distance. The staff were well behaved, and the room was spacious and well maintained.

There are a few inexpensive places right across from the hotel for tea, coffee, breakfast and the like, plus some good restaurants nearby. The hotel itself is clean, and the staff were good; I had no trouble after booking through Oyo. It’s right in the city center, with the main shops close by. Rates can cause problems in lots of places, though.

I paid Agoda’s listed price of 1183 online, but when I arrived the property asked me for more money. The staff and owner behaved very poorly. The management should stop taking online bookings if they won’t honor the price, or give guests the room at the price shown. The inside lock on the main door also wouldn’t close, so I didn’t feel safe sleeping there or going out. This was room 106 on the first floor. If there’s an issue, call the police. Please avoid this hotel.
