It’s affordable compared with other hotels, and the staff are friendly. But the room had been shut for several days without ventilation, leaving a bad mouldy smell. Water seepage has also made the wall paint peel, and it sticks to your clothes. They should air the room out before renting it.

Our stay at Arumugam residency was awful. The floor wasn’t clean, the AC leaked water and barely cooled the room. We complained, but nothing was done about these problems. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The management were helpful and cooperative, and the AC worked well. The bathroom was kept clean too. We stayed here and would recommend it to future visitors who want a peaceful stay in Tiruchendur. Happy Arumugam ac Residency and the Manager and staff.

Our family had a pleasant stay in the well-maintained cottage. The bathrooms were very clean and neat. A good place for families staying in thiruchendur.

I booked six rooms and had a confirmation from booking.com for our 7:30 pm arrival, but when we reached the hotel there were no rooms. They had sold them without telling us. No hotel manners or discipline. This was horrible. Never book here.
