Peninsula Grand Hotel

I went to reception to explain that the card I'd been handed wasn't a proper room key. Rishita wouldn't hear me out. She raised her voice, accused me of lying, and argued with me instead of addressing the concern. Then she demanded payment for a key I hadn't been properly given. At check-in, a staff member had opened the room for me and handed me what looked like a dummy card. When I got up for breakfast the next morning, I realized it was a Mitron stag card, not a working room key. Rishita's response was disrespectful and unprofessional. This treatment of guests is unacceptable, and I hope management takes it seriously and trains the staff to act professionally.

The food was below average, and when we raised concerns, nobody tried to resolve them. The chef was careless and disrespectful, and the staff were rude, uncooperative, and unprofessional. Their poor hospitality and management ruined the mood of our birthday celebration today. For a special occasion, this level of customer care is unacceptable. Hotel Peninsula needs to improve how its staff behave. I wouldn't recommend it for celebrations or events.

I attended a conference here, not an overnight stay. The hall was just inside the main entrance, which faces away from the road, and was well appointed. It seemed suitable for around 150 people, with a separate section. The restaurant on the top floor served good food, with nothing to complain about. The hotel sits right at the busy Saki Naka junction and isn't impressive from outside. It's easy to miss, though Google helps. Parking for about 50 cars could be an issue during functions, although on a weekday afternoon there was usually a spot. It's a functional place in the middle of a busy junction, not a fancy one.

Abhijit made sure everything ran smoothly and made the celebration memorable. My brothers surprised me with a cake cutting for my birthday at Hotel Peninsula Grand, and I really appreciated that. Dinner was delicious, and the ambiance made the occasion feel special. The hospitality and food quality were much appreciated. Highly recommended!
