Pl.A.Krishna Inn

For three nights I stayed at this overpriced, overrated place. Its one clear advantage is being close to Trichy junction railway station. The bus stand area around it is dirty and run-down. The rooms have very few amenities. My TV remote didn't work, many switches and sockets were faulty, and the access card stopped working in the middle of the day, so I had to go to reception to get it fixed. Staff seemed uninterested in helping, and room service never answered my calls. The restaurant was average. They do have eggs, but I'd skip the breakfast and walk to Sangeetha's (veg only) for better food and service. I don't know about lunch or dinner, and guests would be better off checking out other restaurants nearby. We saw two live lizards running along the walls in our rooms. The hotel seems to be slowly crumbling and needs a complete renovation and a change in management. Whoever gave it a 3-star rating must be fired. There was no valet, chilled water, or fridge. It's extremely hot in Trichy, so they should at least provide guests with cold water and speak to them pleasantly.

We stayed at PLA Krishna Inn for about two days in January 2025, and the hygiene was shockingly poor. The washrooms, blankets, drinking water, and food all seemed unhygienic and badly maintained. After the stay, we developed several skin infections and are still receiving medical treatment. This was a serious health hazard, not just an inconvenience. Basic cleanliness standards clearly weren't met, so calling it a 3-star hotel is misleading. I strongly don't recommend staying here, as it could put your health at risk.

The only good part was the complimentary breakfast. Otherwise, don't stay here. The rooms were badly kept, with worn and stained sheets and pillowcases, plus broken furniture marked with what looked like coffee spills. The white bathroom towels had turned brown from prolonged use, and management seemed unconcerned about replacing them. The bathroom counters and floors were dirty, the floor tiles were broken and stained, and it looked as if they hadn't been cleaned for weeks. The doors were damaged and had black mold and fungus growing on them, which is a serious health concern. I came to Trichi to visit local temples and stayed here with my wife, but I'd choose a much cheaper lodge that keeps things cleaner. This place isn't worth risking your health or hard-earned money. The hotel should be downgraded to 1 star or less, and the owners should be held accountable for taking advantage of customers. I wonder how it received its 3-star rating from HRACC. I assume there may have been some political influence. The relevant authorities, including the tourism minister GOI overseeing this portfolio, should look into it and take strict action. Thank you.

Dusty, old rooms and terrible service. No one answers the reception phone, and there's no empathy for guests. I'm not sure why Google gave this a 3-star rating, it doesn't even qualify as an Oyo-level hotel. I strongly recommend never booking a room here.
