Bhimas Deluxe Hotel

It’s recently renovated and still brings back memories of the 80s. It’s considered one of the oldest hotels in the city. The location is very close to the railway station and within walking distance of the bus stand, opposite the famous Govindaraja Swamy Temple, who is considered Perumal’s brother. The restaurant should have restroom facilities too. The one near the parking area and behind reception isn’t well maintained.

I wouldn’t recommend Bhimas Deluxe Hotel, Tirupati, if you expect respectful treatment or decent service. The staff, especially security, were rude and unprofessional. Instead of helping guests, they spoke to drivers in an authoritative and unacceptable way. It doesn’t seem like a one-off problem. The overall attitude suggests poor management and a lack of proper staff training, with customer service seemingly neglected. The hotel needs to improve staff behavior, professionalism, and basic hospitality.

We ordered food, waited more than half an hour, then left without eating. They don’t seem to care whether customers have come for a meal, and the service was the worst. They don’t respect their customers.

We were disappointed at lunch when they told us the thali had garlic in every item. We tried Jain dhal instead, but it was a disaster, with more chili than dhal. In the end we ordered curd rice and roti. Very disappointing.
