The next day, staff took the booking phone from my friend and started submitting feedback themselves. When we confronted them, they said they’d address all our complaints and asked us to give good feedback. Before that, cleanliness was already poor: the bed and bathroom had visible spots, and every bathroom on that floor had a broken toilet seat. The complimentary breakfast came from a roadside vendor, with no cutlery provided, and they didn’t bring drinking water despite repeated requests. We booked through Oyo. Unless it’s an emergency, don’t stay here.

They’ll plead for a five-star rating and are very rude. The staff and service were awful, and it’s overpriced. They even ask for money just to tell you where the darshanam ticket counters are, helping forcefully and then charging you. The bathrooms weren’t clean either. The complimentary breakfast wasn’t even worth 20-25 rs.

There was no RO or any other drinking water facility, so beware. I booked a room with two beds but was given a single-bed room, and when I asked, the one person there under the name of staff didn’t know about my booking. He was very casual. This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, with completely unprofessional staff.

I had to keep fighting with Oyo customer care throughout my two-day short stay and never got a resolution. The old building has minimal facilities, and they don’t even provide toiletries. I felt cheated, and money doesn’t matter when you’re treated that way. If you stay, make sure you get the exact room shown in the Oyo app, or Oyo won’t refund you. After paying Oyo in advance, staff may try to steer you into the smallest room, even when you booked a suite, using excuses like maintenance work or infestion. I believe they try to give our booked rooms to walk-in guests who’ll pay higher rent, so they can get paid twice for one room. My experience was horrible. Don’t pay until you’ve checked in to the room you booked. I wouldn’t return or recommend it. Since it was only two days, I chose not to file a suit against the hotel management and Oyo over their irresponsible behaviour. Oyo should remove such cheating properties from its app, or it’ll die for good soon.
