Maanas Homestay

The owner is very humble and helpful, and it was comfortable staying here. The homestay is one kilometre from the RTC busstand. Rooms have amenities including AC, a bathtub, washing machine and a small lift.

I stayed one day in the penthouse and found it so comfortable and peaceful that I could imagine staying here for a year or longer. The bed was comfortable, and there were clean towels, a TV, AC, a geyser for hot water and a washing machine, which would be handy for a long stay. Everything was in good condition and the property was well maintained. It’s also a great value compared with other places nearby. I loved it and would definitely stay again. I found it on Google Maps, and the location shown there was accurate, about 1 km from the RTC Bus Stand and easy to walk to.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable, but hygiene is a problem. There are lots of cockroaches in the kitchen, the taps don’t work properly, and the shared handwash sink in the hall leaks. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The house was clean and otherwise good for the price, with AC rooms. It’s in a residential area, so there are no hotels nearby. You can order through Zomato or prepare food yourself. Some shops are on the main road, but it’s a long walk. Autos depend on Ola, as you may not find one otherwise, and the Uber or auto fare is high. The bathroom had a slight smell despite having an exhaust.
