The rooms were unhygienic, with cigarette butts around and stained bedsheets. After we asked several times, they changed the sheets, but the replacements were still dirty. Towels were dirty too, and there were no basic amenities. The AC was switched off every morning at 9 AM and evening at 5 PM, even while people were in the rooms. They also turned off the lift to save on power bills. If a booking was prepaid online, they still demanded cash. We paid online in advance and were treated even worse by staff. The reviews with 4 and 5 stars felt FAKE after staying here. The behavior of SRINIVASULU and BASHA, who claims to be the owner, was atrocious. I will never recommend this place to anyone.

Mosquitoes were everywhere, and the rooms felt unhygienic. The sheets and pillow covers had stains, and even after I asked several times, they weren't replaced. There weren't any bedsheets provided, either. The landline didn't work, and staff wouldn't answer their mobile phones. The power-saving measures were another surprise: the lift was switched off, and the AC was turned off with its remote kept in the office so guests couldn't control it. Staff also wouldn't respond when needed. I would never recommend this place. This was the worst kind of stay I can imagine.

Room service was awful, and nobody answered the phone. They claim to have hot water around the clock, but I found that hard to believe. They didn't even provide doormats. In just 10-15 minutes, you could get bitten by mosquitoes. Staying here seems worse than sleeping on the road, and you might catch any number of mosquito-borne diseases. I'd give it -100 if I could. Stay at your own risk.

The only real drawback for me was the food, which came from a nearby hotel because The Residency doesn't have a kitchen. It was extremely spicy. Apart from that, I had a comfortable stay, and the front-desk staff and caretakers were very helpful. Everything they promised was provided.

Don't book this hotel online. After I arrived, they said there were no rooms available and wouldn't give me one. There was also a person who seemed to be drinking at the booking counter.
