Sri Raghavendra Residency

We had a really nice stay. Our room had three beds, cost 2.5k, and was in a newly renovated part of the place. What stood out most was being right outside the Padmavati Amman temple. At night, you can step out and see the big gopuram. I’d recommend it if you want to stay near the temple.

The location worked well as a base for exploring, and the service was warm and genuinely helpful. The rooms weren’t spotless, but they were comfortable and felt cozy after a day on the road. A delightful stay.

Getting to the hotel was a hassle because it’s on a barricaded street, so vehicles can’t drop you off or pick you up there. There’s also no room service, not even water, tea, or coffee, and nobody helped carry luggage up the narrow stairs. The colored linen made it hard to tell if it was fresh or washed, and the rooms were just okay. I was charged Rs.200 per person to freshen up. I paid the refreshment charge because I wanted a ground-floor room, which needed cleaning.

The reception people were so kind, and the rooms were neat with very good hot water. It’s very close to thaayar sannadhi. Best place to stay...
