Aakash Inn Tiruvannamalai

I’ve stayed at Aakash Inn, Tiruvannamalai regularly with family and friends, most recently on 5th May 2026. The rooms are good and have the basics needed for a comfortable stay. Every hotel employee I met was courteous, and the reception staff were helpful and polite from booking through checkout. That kind of consistency seems to come from the management’s active involvement and encouragement.

Before checking out after a very enjoyable week at Aakash Inn in Tiruvannamalai, I searched my room carefully so I wouldn’t leave anything behind. I went to pay Sathya, the daytime manager, and a couple of minutes later she came back with an electronic device I’d accidentally left plugged into the outlet. She had hurried up to check my room. That kind of customer care really impressed me, and it’s a big reason I’d be glad to stay here again. It’s a simple hotel without frills, but Sathya manages it very well. Ramasramam is almost directly across the road, and there’s a restaurant on the main floor with a good buffet of the usual South Indian tiffin dishes. Breakfast is included in the room rent. Staff also responded promptly whenever I asked for something for my room.

It’s about 100 yd from Ramana ashram, and the restaurant serves more than breakfast. There’s a good lunch buffet on weekends. Each day’s breakfast buffet has the standard South Indian dishes and costs 160 rupees per person, a bargain.

The location is really convenient, and we had a friendly, homely stay. The food was excellent, and the staff were helpful, especially the manager. Thanks for all the help. 🙏
