Burj Baneria

The views brought so much calm and charm to our stay at Burj Baneira in Udaipur. We loved the spacious, clean rooms and the beautiful way they were done. The staff made us feel welcome and cared for throughout, and the hospitality was wonderful. The food was wholesome and delicious, with a real home-cooked feel. It felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Udaipur.

We were there during one of Udaipur’s busiest periods, when every monument, cafe, and restaurant seemed packed and the city felt overwhelming. This homestay was a peaceful breather. The rooms all had lovely views, and it felt quiet and serene from the moment we arrived. It was a family trip with our parents, so comfort mattered. I’d read that the road was uphill and worried a little, but it was actually fine and felt comfortable and safe for our parents. The owner and staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. My mother follows a strict no onion, no garlic diet, and they served Jain food for breakfast and dinner every day without us having to keep explaining. That kind of care stays with you. The kids loved it too. The property was super clean, hygienic, and well maintained, and the rooms and terrace had enough space for them to move around freely. It felt safe and secure. The food was really good as well. My favourite moments were sunrise from the terrace and evenings by the bonfire overlooking the lake. Calm and beautiful, just what we needed. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet stay away from the city chaos, and we’ll definitely come back.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at the rooftop restaurant and loved the time we spent there. The view from the room and restaurant was exquisite, and the food was good. We had a great stay at Burj Baneria, where the hosts were well behaved and had taken care of the small details. Getting there was a little difficult, and cab drivers fleece you by charging double, but the place is totally worth it. Highly recommend.

That clear sky above the phenomenal rooftop restaurant, along with a tasty dinner, is one of the memories I’ll take away from Udaipur. Thank you for making the stay special. Burj Baneria was a delight. Check-in, staff, property upkeep, and food were all top notch. It sits on the west bank of Lake Pichola, away from the old city bustle but still close enough to feel very much in town. Cabs and autos were available on request.
