We got there very late and tired, otherwise we wouldn't have stayed at all. The rooms were horrible, dirty, and stinky. The synthetic sheets and blankets had holes and stains, and there were creepy insects on the wall. The bathrooms were tiny and smelled bad, and the stairs were uncomfortable with no lift. Don't trust the pictures, the room looked like it hadn't been cleaned since they were taken. We spent the night there, then fled to vishwam, which is right opposite, the next morning even though our train wasn't until the afternoon. I was fooled by the reviews.

Always had hot water, and the room was comfortable with a clean environment. The staff were really friendly. Such a pleasure staying here, it felt like a great place for a family or friends. Best hotel in udaipur, must visit. Happy customer.

We paid in advance, but the money seems to be gone for good. They called on the day of our reservation to say they were cancelling the booking, after we'd planned to check in that day. This is the most disgusting hotel and staff I've ever dealt with. Never book here.

Mr Ghanshyam ji helped us with the rooms and the surrounding places, and the people here really cared about making guests comfortable. We came from Mumbai for a vacation in udaipur, and Hotel Thakur was the best choice we could have made. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the service was always good. The room was comfortable, with a great mattress and bed, and I'd give the hygiene 10+ stars. It also had a nice ambience and a decent environment. Best place to stay with family and friends.
