Gold Leaf Hotel

When we arrived at Yaduraj, the room was completely unclean, the sheets looked used, and the floor was dirty. The bathroom drain was blocked, water wouldn't go down, and the toilet smelled awful, as if it hadn't been flushed. Basic amenities weren't there at check-in, and they didn't bring a kettle despite several requests. The geyser didn't work properly either, with the water going cold after just a few minutes. Then, at 6:30 in the morning while we were getting ready, the water suddenly stopped. At night, a party with loud music went on until 12:30 am, along with noises from tables and chairs being moved on the terrace. It was a very unhygienic, substandard experience with unprofessional staff in a remote location where we couldn't get an Uber, Ola, or Rapido cab. I paid for a 3-star hotel and got third-class service, the worst hotel experience ever. We had booked two rooms at gold leaf a month before our stay. On check-in day, the owner or manager called about a technical issue with one room and said we'd have to share one room. I agreed, but then he called again, saying there was an issue with the guests and asking us to go to their other property, Yaduraj, far from the city centre. He persuaded us to check in there. I can understand there may have been technical or other problems at gold leaf, but they should have arranged a hotel of similar status or returned our money so we could book somewhere decent ourselves.
