Hotel Shambhu Villas

The rooftop bar and restaurant were the highlight, with a cool, aesthetic feel, lovely city views, and a memorable evening atmosphere. The food was top-notch too. Staff were polite and easy to talk to, always ready to help with a smile, and made us feel at ease. Our room was really pretty, clean, and well maintained, with a cozy, premium feel. The price was reasonable for the experience. Staying at Hotel Shambhu Villas was a great experience, and the central location made it easy to reach the main attractions.

The service and breakfast didn’t feel worth the amount charged for the booking. The staff were nice, but the receptionist came across as egoist and not very polite. The pool wasn’t usable by people. Parking was mentioned when booking, but at check-in we had to handle it ourselves, with no help from staff, the manager, or the property manager.

The hotel felt safe, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location made it easy to reach the main tourist spots. Staff were cooperative, and Chirag deserves a special thank you. We had some problems around the city and he patiently guided us through everything. We really enjoyed our stay at Shambhu Villas Tripli, and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Udaipur.

My wife and mother-in-law booked another hotel after just one night because the stay had become a nightmare. The beds were dirty and uncomfortable, basic toiletries were missing, and room service was so poor they had to call 4-5 times before anyone responded. Breakfast was just chole bhature or upma, hardly a proper morning meal. I’d booked three nights, 16-19 February 2026, through Cleartrip for around ₹9,000. Because of these problems, I had to urgently arrange another hotel, but no refund or partial compensation was offered. Choosing this property was a mistake, and we paid for it. Thankfully, my wife and her mother are now comfortable and happy at the new hotel. Save your money and your sanity, this place is a complete rip-off.
