Hotel Times Sunrise

There was no working way to contact reception, and none of the hotel numbers worked. Staff were average and not very helpful. The AC was stuck at 18°C with no remote, while the geyser in my room, 302, didn’t work, so there was no hot water. I paid online for breakfast but didn’t get it, and there was no restaurant on-site despite it appearing in the pictures. There was no room key or lock, so anyone could enter while I was out. Horrible experience, I wouldn’t recommend it.

The location is 5-7 km outside the main city. There’s no restaurant, and the room smelled so bad I couldn’t eat outside food there either. The whole hotel was smelly and didn’t seem to be cleaned properly. The biggest joke was that they had no key for our room, yet assigned it to us. They said the previous customer hadn’t returned it. We asked them to make a duplicate, but meanwhile had to leave our room unlocked. It felt really unsafe. The room was tiny, dirty, smelly and poorly maintained, and so was the very small, dirty bathroom. The telephone and wifi didn’t work. Service was the worst: the manager and staff weren’t helpful, didn’t answer calls, and wouldn’t provide things we asked for. It felt like they just wanted the money. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this hotel. Worst experience.

I visited on 26th December 2023. When I arrived at his flagship silver valley property, they refused the booking I’d made through the OYO app. The owner, Dhairendra, asked me to move to Hotel the sunrise property instead. It had the worst rooms: no TV, leaking walls everywhere, and a bathroom so dirty and untidy that a public toilet would be much better. The owner and staff had an incredible attitude. Do not book this property or Hotel the sunrise, you’ll regret it.

The only downside is that it’s a bit far from the city. I’d recommend it if you’re looking for peace: you can watch the sunrise from your room in the early morning. The room was in very good condition and clean, and the hotel service was excellent. We arrived late, around 10pm, but food was still available, and the owner was very relaxed in responding.
