Hotel Lakend

The calm setting by Fateh Sagar Lake was the part I’ll remember most. It gave us lovely views and a quiet place to return to, while still being a useful base for exploring Udaipur. The grounds were well kept and pleasant, and the rooftop café was a relaxing place to sit with the lake in view, particularly in the evening. Breakfast had a satisfying range of choices. Staff were warm and attentive, which helped the stay feel comfortable and easy. Hotel Lakend worked well for a scenic, relaxed visit with access to the city’s main attractions.

Lalit from room service went out of his way to help us, especially with our toddler’s needs, and made things much easier. Taruna, Mahesh, and Komal also took great care of us. Everyone was warm, polite, and ready to help. We spent three lovely days at Hotel Lakend. The property is beautiful, well maintained, and has a great vibe. Breakfast was really good, with plenty of variety and great taste. I’d gladly recommend the hotel and stay again.

The peaceful atmosphere and lake views are what make Hotel Lakend stand out. Its large grounds have lush lawns, and the poolside and outdoor dining areas look especially beautiful at night. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped, though some of the older ones could use better maintenance. Food and the breakfast buffet were good. Service can run a little slow during busy hours. Still, it’s a lovely choice if you want nature, a calm setting, and Udaipur charm.

We had a comfortable, really nice stay, and the restaurant food was great. Sameer, Manish, and the restaurant team were especially friendly and helpful, as were the rest of the staff. The hotel’s location feels one of a kind in Udaipur, and you can eat while looking out at the lake. 10/10, a must-visit.
