The location is a little removed from the main tourist spots, so getting to attractions takes extra time, though it also makes for a quiet stay away from city noise. Howard Johnson by Wyndham, Udaipur has spacious, well-kept rooms with comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, good lighting, and the essentials for either a short or longer visit. Its contemporary look and welcoming feel make it easy to settle in. I especially liked the pool for relaxing after sightseeing. The restaurant offers Indian and international food, with generally very good quality, and breakfast has fresh choices and attentive service. Staff are polite, professional, and ready to help. It’s a comfortable, clean place with good service in a stylish setting.

The staff in charge were excellent and supportive whenever we had a request. They kindly made cold coffee even though it wasn't on the buffet, and warm milk for our 4 year old was always complimentary. We left with very warm memories and will definitely stay again. The rooms were big, clean, and had fresh sheets and towels. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, with a good spread. It's slightly away from the main sightseeing spots, but everything else was great value for money. In winter, the view of arravalis from the top of the hotel is beautiful.

Ms. Shalini, Mr. Radhey & Mr. Vijender were especially helpful and friendly. The staff overall were humble, polite, and very helpful, and the food had a mind-blowing variety of delicious dishes. We had a wonderful time at Howard Johnson, Udaipur. Our rooms were spacious, comfortable, and spick and span. We enjoyed the stay and would highly recommend it to Indian and international tourists. A must visit on a Udaipur trip, with an overall rating of 5.

Our first day at Howard Johnson by Wyndham, Udaipur was comfortable. The reception looked good, the rooms felt decent, and the bathrooms were clean. After that, though, the dust became hard to ignore. The corridor carpets seemed extremely dusty and badly maintained, as if they hadn't been properly cleaned in a long time. Others staying with us noticed it too. Management needs to keep up regular deep cleaning, especially in shared areas. The elevators were inefficient, and we waited a long time on several occasions. Wi-Fi was limited to around 10 Mbps, less than I expected for a hotel in this category. Noise came through clearly from the corridor and the room above us because the soundproofing was poor. We were traveling with a baby, and she kept getting disturbed. The buffet had fewer options than at other 4-star hotels. Veg and non-veg dishes were set close together, so it was confusing unless you read every tag carefully. The food was average, and the salads and dressings were the only things I genuinely enjoyed. A large school group of 100+ kids arrived during our stay, making the hotel extremely noisy. The buffet area was crowded and occupied, and the whole thing felt chaotic. The hotel should have arranged separate dining times or space so other guests could still have a calm, comfortable experience. The place has potential, but maintenance, guest comfort, and crowd management need work.
