Keys Lite by Lemon Tree Hotels, Urban Square, Udaipur

I particularly enjoyed eating at Spice by Urban Square. The food was freshly made, tasty, and reasonably priced, with both à la carte choices and a buffet. The live breakfast counter was a nice addition. Devaram and Rajendra were polite, attentive, and always smiling, and the restaurant manager was courteous and made sure guests were comfortable. The room had a king-size bed, a single bed, a desk and chair, a sofa set, and other furniture, yet there was still plenty of room to move. The washroom was spacious, with central hot water. There was also a hair dryer, toiletries, locker, microwave, mini-fridge, and TV. Central AC worked well, though there are no ceiling fans. The hotel is inside Urban Square Mall and has ample covered parking. Check-in was smooth, and the room was clean and tidy from the start. This is a new addition to the Lemon Tree group. I had a genuinely good stay, and hope the whole team keeps up the same standard for every guest.

The direct mall entrance is a real plus. Urban Square is large, with a food court, KFC, McD, and shops like Trends, Pantaloon, and Lifestyle. It wasn’t crowded when I was there, perhaps because it’s 10km from the city, though the hotel itself doesn’t feel isolated. For sightseeing, we hired a car for the full day for 2500, which was convenient. It takes about 30 mins from the airport on a good, straight road. The hotel is modern and well appointed, and the rooms are spotless and spacious, with a large double bed plus a sofa and table with a chair for working. Breakfast at Spice was excellent, both the food and service. The only odd layout detail is reception on the 2nd floor, while the rooms are on the 7th and 8th, but the lifts make that no inconvenience. Lemontree is a good brand.

The meals are good, and some guests have singled out the culinary team. Rooms are described as clean, comfortable, and well maintained, whether you’re staying for business or leisure. For Udaipur, the experience feels like very good value for the price. It’s a friendly, comfortable hotel with genuinely helpful hospitality and a strong reputation as a budget-friendly option.

Urban Square Mall is attached to the hotel, which made shopping, food, and entertainment very easy. The rooms were modern, clean, and comfortable, and the staff were helpful. It’s good value and has a relaxed feel. Plan for the trip into the main city or old city, which takes about 20 to 30 minutes, especially if you’re visiting places like City Palace or Lake Pichola. The rooms also seemed a little dark in daytime. More lighting would make them feel brighter and more welcoming.
