OYO 1484 Hotel Royal Pratap Niwas

What mattered most to me was that Hotel Pratap Niwas was truly pet friendly. My puppy’s food order was taken when I booked and was ready when I arrived. Traveling between cities by car can be stressful for pet owners when they don’t know if their animals will be accommodated well, and the management was considerate of both his needs and ours. It made the trip stress-free. The rooms were good, the staff very courteous, and it was an excellent deal for the price. Thank you.

The rooms were spacious and the stay was pleasant, but there were several problems. Parking wasn’t proper, our room’s locks were damaged, and the AC wasn’t working properly. The bathroom windows were large enough for someone to get in by breaking the glass, and they had no grills.

The night view of the lake and palace from the terrace is fantastic, and the city looks lovely lit up. The rooftop restaurant at Hotel royal pratap niwas, Machaan, is a wonderful spot for dinner with friends or family. The food was hygienic and well prepared, and snacks and orders can be served to your needs. Sometimes there’s a bit of a wait, though usually delivery is fast. Rooms are well maintained, and staff provide facilities. The lift reaches the top floor kitchen area, then you have to climb a steel ladder to get to Machaan. You can park outside and use the stairs or lift to reach the rooms or terrace restaurant. The view is a big part of what makes this place fantastic.

The towels could have been cleaner, but otherwise I liked staying here. The manager was very helpful and even upgraded our room to super delux. It’s conveniently located, with easy access to a rickshaw, and there’s a general store and breakfast options available. It’s a budget place with hot water, clean washrooms and beds.
