The food was a highlight, especially the dalbati churma, Gajar ka halwa, and missi roti. Breakfast had plenty of local flavors, including idlis, dosas, and hot uttapam. We also enjoyed the spa, where the therapists were skilled and gave us personal attention, plus a romantic poolside dinner and sunset high tea at the hilltop viewpoint. The Holi celebration was lively, with organic colors, delicious food, music, laughter, and joy. Sayaji Resort and Spa Udaipur felt welcoming from the moment we arrived. The staff were polite, humble, and respectful. The rooms had thoughtful amenities and personal touches, and the property combined greenery, sparkling pools, and views of the surrounding hills in an elegant setting. Special thanks to Mrunal, Love, Ankit, Dorji, Rohit, and Nim for their hospitality. A luxurious place that reflects Rajasthan’s heritage and hospitality. Five stars.

The spa was a real highlight, with calm treatments, professional therapists, and a peaceful setting that helped me unwind. I found the food fresh, tasty, and nicely presented, with a good range at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. My room was clean, spacious, comfortable, and had a lovely outside view. Natural light and the scenery made it especially relaxing. The property’s royal feel, elegant décor, and soothing lighting made the stay feel special. Staff were polite and professional, always ready to help with a smile, and service ran smoothly. Rooms and common areas were kept hygienic and clean, making it peaceful for leisure or business travel. A comfortable, refreshing stay, and I’d happily recommend it for its hospitality.

The property has plenty of space and would suit big events or weddings, with an ambience made for grand celebrations. Food quality and taste were good. The location is a bit far from the main city, and prices are on the high side, but the luxury and experience may make it worth considering. Sayaji Resort & Spa, Udaipur is a luxurious place. The rooms and washrooms are very spacious, beautifully designed, and have a premium feel. Everything seemed high-end and well maintained. Service was excellent, with prompt, polite staff who were always ready to help.

The room was advertised as having a hill view, but it actually looked onto the garden, where wedding preparations were taking place. We booked a suite through Expedia and arrived around 9 p.m. The room and bathroom were neat, but there was a strong drainage smell. Reception promptly sent someone to spray air freshener, but the odor remained. Since the staff couldn’t fix it, we checked out the next morning after only one night of our two-night booking. At checkout, Vaibhav told us the hotel had been built over a drainage system, which he said explained the persistent smell. Mr Vaibhav had promised to refund the full amount, but soon disappeared and couldn’t be reached. After repeated emails, calls, and follow-ups, the property refunded only a minimal amount. I know many reviews praise Sayaji, but our stay was disappointing. I’m writing to caution others to be careful about what they may encounter. Service history and guest health and safety matter when booking, and in our experience those were compromised here. I hope local health authorities take appropriate action and hold properties accountable for misleading guests.
