The interiors are impressive, but the food has really gone downhill. It was some of the worst food I’ve had in Udaipur. The pizza place said they had no wood, and it felt like the chef had gone on a permanent holiday along with the rest of the kitchen. The tandoori chicken smelled old, the crispy corn was swimming in oil, and the LIIT tasted like plain rum and coke. I wouldn’t come back.
Mr. Prashant took care to make sure everything was right, and his hospitality, suggestions, and attention to detail really added to our dinner. We had a lovely evening, with delicious food, a warm atmosphere, and excellent service. Highly recommend.
The WiFi only worked by reception, so we had to rely on our own hotspots. Breakfast details kept changing, and the food could be better. We also had poor hygiene and a bathroom with no water supply. The ACs weren’t working properly for two days. Renovations don’t make up for these problems, the service needs urgent attention.
Our group of 11 ran into several problems: the AC didn’t work, there was a bathroom water issue, and the WiFi was poor. Management seemed barely involved, and breakfast arrangements were inconsistent. The food needs work too, and the pool never works. Staff were pathetic. They threw away my lens without asking me. Apparently nobody goes there to party anymore.
The Artist House has a lively, artistic feel, and the location was great. We spent two nights there, and the food and staff were both great. Priyanshu was especially helpful and cooperative, making sure everything was just right during our stay.
