The Kanchangarh Resort

The hotel is far from the city, in a scary surrounding, and my family would not want to travel to this location. I booked three days but felt it was a blizzard mistake as soon as I arrived, so I checked out within 2 hrs. I understand the owner may reply something weird, but truth is truth. The property and Goibibo still haven’t refunded the whole amount. I also requested a partial refund, but those requests went unaddressed.

The food at the restaurant was average, but the rooms were beautiful and comfortable, and every staff member greeted us warmly and made sure our needs were met. The resort’s swimming pool was the highlight: crystal clear, well maintained, and spacious enough for families as well as relaxing alone. There were plenty of loungers, and attentive staff were ready with drinks or towels. A lovely, relaxing stay. Highly recommended for a luxurious getaway.

The owner was kind, and the rooms were okay and very spacious, but it didn’t feel luxurious. The service was poor, the food tasteless, and the lift was not working. Taps and the brush holder were rusty, and water was clogging in the sink. They don’t provide the service they charge for, and the staff are pretty unprofessional. We had to ask for every little thing, including toiletries, a towel, and a water bottle. The lane is very narrow and hard for drivers coming through the village to find. It feels like they’re trying so hard to make it luxurious but failing badly.

We stayed as a family of 5 with our pet from 22nd Oct to 25 th oct. The rooms were okay but spacious. The taps and soap holders in the washroom were rusty, and the food was okay until the last day, when another guest staying there discovered that the chole curry was infested with insects. Narrow bylanes lead to the resort, and it’s hard to get ola/ uber taxies. Swiggy and blinkit also ask for additional delivery charges. Overall, the staff management wasn’t very good.
