The evenings were especially memorable, with time around the fireplace alongside the charismatic host and chespiced dinners that let me discover Rajasthan's vibrant spirit. The landscapes around the lodge added to the magic. From the warm welcome by a dedicated team, I felt they wanted to make the stay special. Traditional architecture and refined decor gave the place a serene, immersive feel, as if I'd stepped into another world. This magnificent lodge in the heart of Rajasthan was more than just a place to stay. Its authentic charm and Reggie Singh the elegant Maharaja hospitality blended into something almost like a fairy tale. It's a hidden gem, and I highly recommend it to anyone dreaming of an authentic, unforgettable trip in India. A must-visit for soaking up the beauty and richness of Rajasthan.

We stayed for two nights recently at Mount Batten lodge with friends, and would happily visit again. It's a lovely place for a holiday with family or friends. The owner and manager gave us a warm welcome, and all the staff were extremely polite and always there to help. They arranged our meals in different locations and made an effort to set everything up beautifully. The food was good, especially the continental dishes. The Indian food was a bit spicy, but they adjusted it when we told them our preference.

The hotel is very eco friendly, with clean, fresh air. It's surrounded by the Aravali hills and forest.

We came for lunch after seeing the beautiful pictures online. Because of COVID, they were only allowing resort guests, but they let us come in for a meal. Even though we had no stay booking, the manager was so nice and walked us around the property, showing us the place. The food was delicious, everyone was sweet, and the service was excellent. The property is absolutely beautiful, a must see if you're in the area.

We came to Mountbatten Lodge for a couple of quiet nights in the "jungle" before heading back to the US, after a wedding in Udaipur where we'd stayed at the Taj Lake Palace. That hotel was extraordinary, routinely rated among India's top five, but Mountbatten Lodge was even better. The owners, Reggie and Mandira, were charming, caring, and helpful. We spent time with them over two meals, and it was a genuine pleasure. The hospitality and service were unbelievable. The Lodge is a short drive from the Jain temple in Ranakpur and also has great excursions. We went on a "Sundowners" trip, watching the sun set high in the hills with drinks and "nibbles." The next day we took the Leopard Safari and saw three adult leopards and two cubs. I can't imagine a better way to spend a couple of days in India, and can't recommend the Lodge more highly.
