Sharada International Hotel

The morning staff member was polite, and the butlers were nice too. The food was okay. But the night shift receptionist was very rude, tried to add 500, and wouldn't take online payment. I had to argue with him to get the price reduced to the online rate and pay online. That one person's behaviour made us regret choosing the hotel. I hope they fix this.

I ordered food from Sharadha International Hotel, Udupi through Zomato today and found pieces of glass mixed into it. This was frightening and could have caused a serious injury. It's a critical health and safety issue, not a complaint about taste or service, and it puts customers at real risk. I hope the management takes this seriously, investigates internally, and improves food preparation and quality checks right away. Food safety should never be compromised. I'm posting this to alert other customers and the authorities.

The hotel is on the Mangalore - Goa Highway, about 5 km from Krishna temple. I stayed in a suite that was okay for four people. Breakfast choices were limited. There's a ground-floor restaurant serving North Indian and Chinese food, and spacious car parking.

The rooms and room service were good, but the restaurant service was pathetic. Staff were rude and nobody took our order for 20 minutes while sitting idle. The food took almost half an hour to arrive and was cold. My whole family got food poisoning after dinner there. I reported it at the front desk, but I don't know whether anything was done. I wouldn't recommend this place for families with elderly people or children.
