Hotel Laxmi Palace and Restaurants

I stayed here twice in December 2025 while visiting Ujjain. It’s a good budget hotel near Mahakaal Mandir, and the owner said the property was newly built, just one year old. The rooms are good, clean, and well maintained, and the service is fine. The staff are friendly and helpful. There’s a big park and a Temple of lord Shiva right in front of the hotel. You can hear the Maha Mrityunjaya mantra in the early morning and evening. Mahakaal Mandir is only a 5-minute walk away. Parking in front of the building can fit 5 to 6 cars.

Getting help was easy, I could call or message on WhatsApp whenever I had a question. The owner was polite, helpful, and easy to communicate with. The hotel is about 300-400 meters from the station, and they arranged a self-paid auto for us. Mahakal Mandir is a five-minute auto ride away, or you can walk there. Our room was clean and kept up well, with daily cleaning. I had a really good stay.

We found the rooms neat and clean, and the food was very good. The owner, Rohit ji, was especially cooperative with us as women and helped us in every way. The temple is within walking distance, and they arranged a taxi at a reasonable price for places such as Omkareshwar. Staff like this are rare. Thank you, Rohit ji, owner of Hotel Laxmi Palace.

I felt safe staying here, and the rooms were clean and fresh. The staff were polite and very helpful, too. It was a lovely stay near Mahakal mandir, and I’d recommend it to people visiting ujjain.
