The host was a nice man who helped and guided us, and the place was worth the money. Rooms and bathrooms were clean, with nice restaurants nearby. It's close to the temple, and the rickshaw stand right outside made getting around easy. Noise could be an issue because it's near the crossroads, though that might affect the other nearby hotels too.

The staff were very good, and the temple is within walking distance. Rooms are old fashioned and cramped, though. Since it's at the main square, traffic noise goes on around the clock, and I couldn't sleep.

The price was decent, and the staff were good. Whenever we asked for something, they brought it along with some lovely tea. Really nice customer service :)

The only real advantage is how close it is to Mahakaleshwar Mandir. Our room had no glass or water when we checked in, and there was no room service. When we asked for water, they brought it in a used Bisleri bottle. I also requested warm water and was told they didn’t offer that. If being near the temple is all you need and service doesn’t matter to you, you could stay here. Otherwise, the service was awful.
