The low price matched the low level of comfort and safety for us. We left the same day and booked somewhere else; we didn't even ask for a refund, we just wanted to feel safe and comfortable. There was a large parking area, but stored gas cylinders made it feel unsafe, especially in a residential area. We had booked Marayoor Holidays almost a month ahead after looking carefully at the online photos and reviews. The room we got looked poorly maintained and nothing like the pictures. On arrival we couldn't reach the host. When she eventually came, she opened the room, handed it over and left without explaining anything. Her manner felt unwelcoming and careless. When we asked about food, we were rudely told to go check outside. Nothing was available there, and no nearby option was suggested. We also couldn't connect to the Wi-Fi at first. The host wasn't available to help, and when we eventually got online, it was far too slow to use. This stay wasn't worth the money or time, and I wouldn't recommend Marayoor Holidays to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable place.

The staff were polite and helpful, and the calm, friendly atmosphere made it easy to relax together. It's a pleasant, good value stay for families and couples. Rooms are clean, comfortable and well kept for the price. The food is tasty and homely, with something suitable for all ages.

They can arrange meals if you let them know in advance, and the kitchen is active. The jeep safari is well worth trying: it visits lovely spots around Marayoor and Kanthalloor that small cars can't easily reach, so I don't think you'll regret the cost. The property is well maintained, with parking, and easy to reach near Marayoor Bus Station. Staff were very friendly, and my room was simple but comfortable.

The hosts were so patient and kind when we realized we'd booked Sunday instead of Saturday. Our room wasn't available on Saturday, but they waited to see if someone would cancel and thankfully managed to arrange the mudhouse for us. We had a peaceful, comfortable stay, with a calm feeling close to nature. Since it's in Marayoor town, food and other essentials are easy to get. A lovely experience, and the hosts were very supportive. Highly recommended for a visit to Marayoor.

There was a cylinder storage yard next to our room, which made us very uneasy about safety. The room itself wasn't clean, and several cracks in the walls made the place look unsafe and poorly maintained. The host had a bad attitude and never responded properly. They didn't come by even once to see if we needed anything. There was no basic care or hospitality. A very poor experience, and I wouldn't recommend staying here.
