The food tasted good, but it was very expensive. Our room, with breakfast, cost 3300, which felt overpriced for what was provided. There was no A/C, and the heat was uncomfortable both inside and outside in October. The TV didn’t work, and the staff didn’t seem serious about dealing with our request to fix it. The kitchen is outsourced, and the hospitality was very poor. Based on our experience, I wouldn’t recommend this resort.

The cottages have a lovely old-world feel, and the staff were warm and friendly. We really enjoyed the food, and complimented the chef at every meal. There’s a lovely breeze across the property, which helps with the heat. The swimming pool is still being built, and will be much needed once it’s ready. It’s about 100 meters from the Parambikulam Tiger Reserve checkpost. I’d definitely recommend it for a family getaway.

We had a lovely time with our family here. The food was delicious, and the surroundings were pleasant, with a cool breeze. I liked the antique Chettinadu-style building. The resort is at the foothills of Top Slip, about 12 km away.

There was no one to deal with our problems, and the place didn’t feel like a resort at all. The room was too expensive for what it offered. There was no AC, the fans and TV didn’t work, and there were no phones available. Staff also showed little regard for guests’ time. The food wasn’t good and took more than an hour to prepare. Worst place I’ve been to.
