Hotel Aalishan

The food was poor quality. For our onion- and garlic-free dinner, all they served was roti and butter paneer, with just two medium pieces of paneer. Breakfast was one banana and half an apple.

All the rooms are damp, there’s no ventilation, and the washroom stinks no matter how much perfume you use. We asked three times for proper cleaning, but it still wasn’t done. There’s no difference between the suite and basic room. Solo women travelers may feel uncomfortable here, so be mindful. A complete waste of money and the worst stay. Stay here only if you don’t care about quality or service. If hygiene matters to you, don’t stay.

The staff were incredibly rude, and the room had no AC remote. When we asked for it, they told us, “Sleep with the AC switched off.” There was no cleanliness and no fan in the room. The worst hotel I’ve ever visited. Pathetic place, super rude staff.

The location is good, but I wouldn’t recommend staying here. There was a constant drain smell in both the room and bathroom, and no exhaust. I booked two rooms for one night, but neither was clean when we arrived. I thought we’d been put in the wrong rooms, so reception moved us. The second room was even worse, so they moved us again. The bins hadn’t been emptied, the bathroom floor was soaked, and the WC was filthy. Housekeeping came after we asked, but nothing really got cleaned. The stains and dirt seemed permanent, and the Front Office said they never focused on cleanliness. We extended for another night because of the weather, but nobody cleaned our room or even left complimentary water. When I asked that evening, they said they didn’t have staff. The staff were good overall, and Aman tried to help a bit. Rahul was on the night shift and was overfriendly on my first night. I wish I could give this place minus five out of five. It wasn’t worth the money and had terrible cleanliness and hygiene. Even a municipal bathroom is better.
