Niraan - The Tent City

The staff at Niraan Tent City were so friendly and helpful that I felt at home. My room was clean and comfortable, with what I needed for a relaxing stay. The place had a positive feel to it, and I came away refreshed. I’d happily recommend it for a peaceful, enjoyable visit in Banaras.

Being right by the Ganga river makes this place even more beautiful, and the Varanasi ghats look lovely from here, especially in the evening. The ambience is amazing, and the rooms are comfortable too. Service is good for the price. Just be aware that the roads leading to the tent city aren’t lit at all, so they can feel unsafe at night.

The location on the River Ganges is superb, and exploring Varanasi from Niraam The Tent City was an unbelievable experience. Transfers for check-in and check-out were well handled, and the staff were very cooperative. I also loved the food, yoga, sports, and spa activities. Such a unique way to experience Varanasi!

They’ve made tent stays feel luxurious, with spacious rooms that have AC, a TV, a seating area, dressing space, and a large bathroom with modern amenities. I loved the tent city concept for both summer and winter. The location beside the ganges is scenic, the food is really good, and there’s a different menu every day. Staff were helpful, and totos take you around the property, from your room to the dining area, reception, boats, or elsewhere, so you don’t have to walk. The hotel also put together a special itinerary for guests to help make their Varanasi experience memorable. A lovely experience and worth trying.
