The rooms are compact, around 150-180 sq. ft., but practical if, like us, you’ll be out exploring most of the day. This newly opened property felt fresh, clean, and well kept. Standard and Deluxe rooms are available, as are mixed dorms for groups or budget travelers. Soundproofing is a real plus in noisy Varanasi, and rooms also have air conditioning, flat-screen TVs, and private entrances. Shree Balaji Comfort is in Golgadda, on Teliyana Road, a useful base near the spiritual center without being in the most crowded lanes by the ghats. The Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Manikarnika Ghat are roughly 1.5 km to 2.5 km away.

We meant to stay one night, but the hospitality was so good that we extended it to three. They arranged local cab service and helped with our travel itinerary. When we mentioned we’d missed malaiyo on the trip, they surprised us with a treat from their side on checkout day 😀😀😀.

The owner is amazing, kind, and always ready to help, and the staff were attentive. They treated us so well that it felt like home for the family. Good work 👌, and budget friendly too.
